Our White Water Safety Courses allow you to learn all the basic techniques required in swift water rescue, how to look after yourself, others and perform rescues.
The key principle of our courses is that safety of the rescuer, closely followed by that of there colleagues. Only after these have been ensured can we begin to help the casualty.
The emphasis through out the courses are on attempting simple low – risk rescues supported by a second back up plan should a more technical solution be required. The workshop will be a mixture of theory and practical sessions, the emphasis, however will be on gaining enough practical experience to feel confident in and around this subject.

This course is particularly beneficial for those who will be dealing with advanced water or vertical access to water situations or who will be in charge of a team of rescue technicians in a swift water environment. This course is compliant to standards laid down by the NFPA.
The above training courses are valid for three years and upon completion students receive a certificate, ID card, badge and skill sheets co-signed by themselves and the instructor. A copy of this is sent to Rescue 3 International in the USA who then enters the student onto their database.
